Autograph letter signed from Peter Richings to Mr. and Mrs. Kean [manuscript], 1852.

Richings requests the loan of the music of Macbeth, since he has discovered that his score and parts are in Washington. At the bottom of the letter, "Walnut," possibly a reference to the Walnut St. Theatre in Philadelphia, where Richings was a manager. Year of letter based on annotation on verso of letter.
